Little explorers and their caregivers are invited to engage in nature-based play, seasonal STEAM activities and crafts, and to meet other families who share a passion for nature! For the Nov - Dec session, please come dressed for the weather! Each week, the program will begin with outdoor exploration and storytime. We’ll then move indoors for the second half, where participants may meet our animal ambassadors, create nature-themed crafts, and continue discovering the wonders of the natural world. The Jan - March session will run indoors.

Each week, we’ll dive into a fun and creative art project inspired by the natural world. From painting and collage to sculpture and printmaking, little artists will explore new materials and techniques in a playful, welcoming environment. Perfect for curious kids and their caregivers who love to make and play. This program will take place indoors.

This program is for elementary-aged students only (ages 5–11 / grades K–5).

It is run by the South Shore YMCA Nature Center, located at 48 Jacob’s Lane, Norwell, MA.

Parents/guardians may register their child(ren) for Monday, Tuesday, or both Monday and Tuesday. Please register each child who will be attending.

Please remember to send your child with:

• A peanut- and tree-nut–free lunch

• Water bottle

• Close toed-shoes and weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. The program will spend time both indoors and outdoors.

Detailed program information will be emailed to families prior to the program. Morning and afternoon snack will be provided.

If your child has a special condition or may require medication while at the program, additional paperwork must be completed in order for them to participate.
