Please register each child attending. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The EcoZone museum at the South Shore Y Natural Science Center features interactive exhibits focused on southeastern Massachusetts’s wetlands, woodlands, and meadow ecosystems. Kids will love to see the live turtles, fish, and carnivorous plants. A tunnel underneath the turtle pond exhibit allows kids to crawl through and peer up at turtles from below. Museum visits are self-guided, with an Environmental Educator available to answer questions. A group story time is offered at 10:30am. Please email skugel@ssymca.org with questions.
Address: South Shore Y Natural Science Center, 48 Jacobs Lane, Norwell, MA 02061
Note: The South Shore Natural Science Center is located on 30 acres of land, featuring six interpretive nature trails. During the week, our trails and land is dedicated to our Nature Center Preschool or Summer Camp programs and is not open to the public.

Campers will interact with animals who call the science center home to learn about anatomy, gain important observational skills, and learn how to use various scientific tools! Vet camp will take trips to Jacobs Pond, explore the Science Center campus, and feed the animals who live in the ecozone.
