Description

A fun filled class introducing the fundamentals of gymnastics through age appropriate circuits . Gymnasts will work to help develop hand -eye coordination and enhance motor skills. This environment is an excellent introduction to participate in a class, stay in a group, follow instructions and take turns.

Requirements

  • We require 30 days written notice for cancellations for any reason other than medical or with Director of Gymnastics approval. 
  • Make up Policy: The YMCA Gymnastics Training Center may cancel a class due to unforeseen events, i.e. safety concern, weather, building closures, etc.  The YMCA will make every effort to make up the canceled class.  In the event that the class cannot be made up there will be no refund for the class.  Make-up classes are not available for classes missed by the participant due to personal conflicts.  Make-ups may be arranged via email for absence due to medical reasons only.  All make-ups must take place before the end of the month following the absence. 
  • Inclement Weather Policy:  In the event of inclement weather, facility closings and/or program cancelations will be communicated on ssymca.org, by email from the main branch, or social media.
  • Please not there will be No classes the following dates:April 20th - 25th, May 25th, and June 19th.
  • Gymnasts should wear sports appropriate attire.  Leotards are prefered for girls, but notrequired.  Hair should be pulled back and a water bottel should be brought in for class.  Dresses and Skirts should not be worn for safety purposes.
