This introductory class is designed to teach seniors the basics of exercise that incorporates the YMCA’s various offerings. Participants will learn proper set up and guidelines for exercise, including equipment, frequency, repetitions, pacing, and correct resistance. This is structured as a cumulative, progressive Keiser-based class, with some additional incorporation of free weights, stretching, and use of the cardio machines, with the outcome goal of a higher level of independence and comfort using the machines on your own! Limit 8 participants.
