This class is designed for children ages 6–12 who are new to swimming or still gaining confidence in the water. This class focuses on building comfort and safety through water acclimation, floating, gliding with support, submerging, and blowing bubbles through the mouth and/or nose. Swimmers will learn essential pool safety rules and basic self-rescue skills while developing trust and confidence in the water. Instructors provide a supportive and encouraging environment to help each swimmer progress at their own pace.
Skills learned in this session: Submerge-bob independently, front glide-assisted from wall, front float-assisted-10 sec- recover independently, back float-assisted-10 sec-recover independently, back glide-assisted from wall, water exit-independently, roll-assisted back float to front float
