In this class, swimmers continue to build confidence and develop greater independence in the water. Participants will strengthen foundational skills such as floating, gliding, and basic strokes while practicing self-rescue techniques performed without instructor support. Emphasis is placed on improving body position, coordination, and breath control to help swimmers move confidently and safely through the water.

To ensure safety and proper placement, participants should be able to demonstrate the following skills:
Swimmers may advance to this level by successfully completing Youth Stage 1 or by passing a swim evaluation. For safety reasons, if a swimmer does not meet the skill requirements for this class, instructors reserve the right to place them in the appropriate level to best support their learning and confidence in the water.
