In this class, swimmers continue to build proficiency with front and back glides, develop stronger flutter kicks, and practice breath control and rotary breathing preparation. Swimmers will strengthen intermediate self-rescue skills while increasing endurance, efficiency, and confidence in the water.

To ensure safety and proper placement, participants should be able to demonstrate the following skills:
Swimmers may advance to this level by successfully completing Preschool Stage 2 or by passing a swim evaluation. For safety reasons, if a swimmer does not meet the skill requirements for this class, instructors reserve the right to place them in the appropriate level to best support their learning and confidence in the water.
